EN LAYOUT EN Hamina: Alpaca hike on the Portimo trails that opens and calms your senses

A memorable, relaxing and soothing hike with alpacas on the forest trails!

We start the trip from the Merikeinu alpaca farm, where we get to know our travel companions, soft alpacas and other animals and activities on the farm. When we are ready to leave, we hop in the car and travel a little further towards the starting point of our hike. Once on the hiking trail, we follow Portimo’s wooded trails, open our senses admiring the wonders of nature and the expressions of the alpacas. After about an hour of a little hike, we end in an atmospheric lean-to, either along the route or in the courtyard of the house, where we enjoy snacks and coffees accompanied by the animals. We return home one experience richer.

What’s included?

The hike includes a professional guide, trained alpacas for hiking, a light snack and coffee or tea.

Please note

Alpacas are greedy for delicacies, there are treats for them for you to give. You can take your dog with you to the farm, but for safety reasons, we cannot take dogs with us for the hike.

The excursion is suitable for anyone who can walk in the woods for about 2 km.

All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

What do I need to bring?

For the trip, please wear clothes according to the weather and footwear suitable for the forest terrain. Take your camera with you if you want to take some pictures of the animals. Of course, when in the forest, the experience is best without the disturbance of digital devices.
